Marcus is the co-founder and Chief Operations Officer of La Famille Raje LLC, a Maryland Social Equity cannabis cultivation business. His path here was intentional: a career built across healthcare IT, logistics and supply chain management, and now cannabis. Each step built the operational infrastructure knowledge he needed for this work.
Before founding La Famille Raje, Marcus worked in healthcare IT and logistics, learning how to design systems that work under strict compliance requirements and how to manage complex supply chains. This background shaped his understanding of what it takes to build reliable, scalable operational infrastructure.
When the opportunity came to work in cannabis, Marcus made a deliberate choice. He took a security role at a cultivation facility to learn the industry from the ground up. He understood that running a licensed operation required intimate knowledge of the real constraints, the regulatory landscape, and the on-the-ground complexities that only come from working inside the system. That foundation gave him the credibility and knowledge to move into broader operational leadership.
Today, Marcus's work spans the complete operational spectrum: cultivation strategy, regulatory compliance, systems design, supply chain logistics, and risk management. His background in community advocacy shapes his approach, methodical and grounded, centered on sustainable, accountable growth. He builds systems that work because they're tested against real constraints and real complexity.
